Fundació de Joan Miró

This art gallery has a wide range of Joan Miró's work dating back as far as 1914. This collection of artworks includes both his paintings and a good selection of sculptures, tapestries and early sketches. A visit to the foundation of the gallery is a total experience of light, beautiful spaces, views over Barcelona, and temporary exhibitions of other artists.

Museu National d' Art Catalunya (MNAC) - Montjuic

The museum is home to a wide range of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque artwork and art facts including paintings, carvings, sculptures, metalwork, and enamels. The museum also exhibits the largest collection of Catalán art in Spain. If you want to find out what the terms new-classicism, modernism and realism mean this museum is for you. This museum gives you a clear insight into the many important influences in Catalán art. This museum of modern art is worth a visit not only for the artwork but also for fabulous view of Barcelona.

Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA)

The museu d'Art Comtemporani is the 11th most popular tourist attraction in Barcelona. It displays art mainly from the second half of the 20 th century and includes the works of many great painters. The museum changes its exhibitions every 3 to 4 months - we therefore recommend you check their web site for the up and coming displays.
